One killed and six injured in a mass shooting incident, in Rochester park

At least one person was killed and six others were injured in a shooting at Maplewood Park in Rochester, New York, on Sunday evening, police reported.
According to Rochester First, officers responded to reports of a large gathering and shots fired around 6:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they found multiple individuals with gunshot wounds and a large crowd fleeing the scene. A 20-year-old was killed, and another victim was hospitalized in critical condition. Five others sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Video footage posted on social media captured the chaotic scene, showing a barrage of gunfire interrupting the gathering and causing people to run for cover. Rochester Police Captain Greg Bello stated, "At this point, we don’t know how many people were shooting. We are trying to work our way through as many witnesses as we can."
The identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification. No arrests have been made so far. Police confirmed that some victims were transported to the hospital by private vehicles, while others were taken by ambulance.
