Bengaluru horror, woman stabbed, CCTV footage goes viral

Twenty-two-year-old Kriti Kumari, who was brutally murdered at her PG accommodation in Bengaluru on July 23, was a colleague of the accused person’s girlfriend. The assailant remains at large, and the police are expected to release a statement on Saturday regarding the motive behind the murder.
CCTV footage from the scene shows Kumari being attacked in her accommodation. She was fatally injured when her neck was slit. Originally from Bihar, Kumari was employed at a private company in Bengaluru.
According to the police, the attacker, armed with a knife, entered the premises around 11:10 p.m. The incident occurred near a room on the third floor. A case has been registered, and the police are tracking the suspect using the CCTV footage.
The chilling footage reveals the attacker approaching Kumari in a narrow corridor, dragging her out, and stabbing her multiple times as she screamed for help. The man in the video has not yet been identified.
The disturbing clip shows Kumari, covered in blood, collapsing against a wall in her final moments. Other residents of the PG facility are seen reacting to the scene, with one likely calling the police.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayanand has assured that the investigation is progressing swiftly with three teams working to apprehend the suspect.
This incident has heightened concerns about the safety of women in paying guest accommodations in major cities.
