Woman doctor rape and murder, West Bengal Chief Minister makes major announcement
Amid outrage, the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited the family of the post-graduate trainee doctor who was tragically raped and murdered inside a seminar hall at RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata.
After consoling the grieving parents, the Chief Minister stated that while the Kolkata Police are diligently working to resolve the case, if substantial progress is not made by Sunday, the investigation will be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
