In response, Delhi and Gautam Buddh Nagar police have implemented heightened security measures:

Advisory issued urging commuters to use metro services to avoid delays.

Route Diversions Include:

Official Statements

"No farmers will be allowed to enter Delhi," stated Additional Commissioner of Police Shivhari Meena. "Farmer leaders have been detained, and strict measures are in place."

The protest, part of a broader agitation, is expected to intensify with farmers from Punjab joining the movement later this week, demanding discussions on Minimum Support Price (MSP).

The march will continue daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, with protesters spending nights on the road. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys carefully and avoid affected routes to minimize disruptions. For traffic emergencies, assistance is available via the helpline at 9971009001.

The march underscores ongoing tensions between farmers and authorities, highlighting unresolved issues in agricultural policies.
