India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has referred to Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) as 'India's crown jewel,' asserting that Jammu and Kashmir remains incomplete without it.

He further accused Pakistan of continuing to plot the promotion of terrorism in the region. Singh made these remarks during an event on Sunday in Nizamuddinpur village, Jaunpur district, where he had attended a function at the residence of senior BJP leader Jagat Narayan Dubey.

Singh emphasized, "This (POK) is India's crown jewel, and without it, Jammu and Kashmir is incomplete. For Pakistan, it is nothing more than a foreign territory that is being used to promote terrorism and anti-India propaganda. Terrorist camps and launch pads in that area must be destroyed, or they will face a fitting response."

The Defense Minister continued his comments by accusing Pakistan of attempting to provoke people in the region against India under the guise of religion and committing atrocities on its citizens. He also took aim at Pakistani leader Anwar-ul-Haq, accusing him of making anti-India statements.

Rajnath Singh also highlighted India’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating, "Under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, India has become the largest digital economy, and by 2047, we will make India a developed country." He added that today, when India speaks, the world listens attentively to what the country is saying.

Further, Singh urged the youth of the nation to study India's history, noting that the country's achievements span every field and that understanding this history is crucial for the younger generation.

Reaffirming India’s firm stance against Pakistan, the Defense Minister warned that if terrorist activities in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir continue, the country will respond decisively. He underscored India's resolve to safeguard its sovereignty and reiterated that no threat to it would be tolerated.
