Darshan of Premanand Maharaj to Become Difficult! Ashram Issues Major Statement

Premanand Maharaj

Premanand Maharaj of Vrindavan, whose discourses guide not only common people but also prominent celebrities towards devotion, will no longer be easily accessible for darshan.

According to recent updates, devotees will not be able to see Maharaj Ji for an indefinite period. Premanand Maharaj, widely revered as a devoted follower of Radha Rani, enjoys immense popularity not only in India but also internationally. He delivers spiritual discourses at his ashram, Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, located in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.

His sermons are widely followed through social media platforms and YouTube. Every day, thousands of devotees visit Vrindavan to get a glimpse of him, and such is his fame that people line up as early as 2 AM to catch a moment of his presence. Premanand Maharaj typically walks to his ashram with his disciples, giving darshan to devotees along the way.

His satsangs also attract massive crowds, with many trying to engage in personal conversations with him. However, due to the overwhelming number of followers, only a few manage to have one-on-one interactions. Now, a significant announcement regarding his darshan has been made. It has been revealed that Premanand Maharaj is facing severe health issues, as both his kidneys have failed.

He undergoes dialysis regularly, affecting his overall well-being. Due to these health concerns, the ashram has officially declared through a post on social media platform X that his padayatra (foot journey) to the ashram, which allowed devotees to have darshan, has been suspended indefinitely. Official Announcement: The social media post stated, "We inform everyone that due to Pujya Premanand Maharaj’s health and the increasing crowd, his nightly padayatra at 2 AM to Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj, where devotees received his darshan, has been suspended indefinitely."

Premanand Maharaj’s discourses attract a wide range of devotees, including common people and celebrities. Recently, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli also visited the ashram with his family to seek blessings. Through his spiritual teachings, Maharaj Ji aims to guide people towards the righteous path. On Thursday, January 6, Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Parikar, Shri Dham Vrindavan, released an official statement on social media confirming the indefinite suspension of the padayatra. This means that devotees who used to gather for Maharaj Ji’s darshan will no longer be able to see him in person. Previous Suspension of Padayatra: This is not the first time that Maharaj Ji’s padayatra has been halted. During the Hathras tragedy, where 121 women and children lost their lives, the saint community was deeply saddened. As a safety measure, the padayatra was temporarily suspended, and a similar official letter was issued, urging devotees not to crowd the path and maintain discipline. With the latest update, devotees will have to wait until further notice regarding Premanand Maharaj’s public darshan. The ashram has appealed to followers to respect the decision and continue seeking spiritual guidance through his discourses available online.
