CM Vishnu Deo's Major Statement on Dismissed Teachers: "Government Doesn't Want Them to Lose Their Jobs"

Raipur: In a significant statement regarding dismissed assistant teachers, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai assured that his government does not intend for them to lose their jobs.
Addressing the media at Raipur's Circuit House following a program, the CM emphasized that while the government is empathetic, any decision will strictly adhere to rules and procedures.
"We do not want their jobs to be lost. However, whatever happens will be in accordance with the recommendations of the committee led by the Chief Secretary," CM Vishnu Deo stated. The dismissed assistant teachers, many of whom hold B.Ed degrees, have been protesting continuously, demanding reinstatement and adjustment into regular teaching roles.
Their strike has drawn significant attention, with demands for fair treatment growing louder. On Sunday, January 19, the dismissed teachers staged a late-night blockade in the state capital, intensifying their movement.
Earlier on Saturday morning, women teachers also gheraoed the residence of Minister OP Chaudhary, adding to the mounting pressure on the government.
The Chief Minister's remarks come amidst ongoing unrest, as the teachers insist that their reinstatement is essential for their livelihood and professional stability.
A decision is awaited based on the committee's recommendations, which could pave the way for a resolution to this contentious issue.
