Chhattisgarh Congress chief Makes crucial Statement on Election Manifesto, know more

Chhattisgarh Congress

Chhattisgarh Congress President Deepak Baij has outlined the party's focus for the upcoming urban body elections, stating that the Congress manifesto will be centered on the welfare of the public and the development of cities.

Baij emphasized that the manifesto would be ready well in advance and will address the needs and aspirations of the people, particularly in terms of urban development.

Speaking to the media after a meeting of the Congress manifesto committee, Baij said, "The manifesto will reflect the development priorities that the people want in the urban localities. It will address several key issues and will be a comprehensive and impactful declaration. The committee will continue its discussions, and once the manifesto is finalized, we will present it to the people."

Baij also commented on the recent decisions taken during the state cabinet meeting regarding farmers, expressing concern that farmers lacked trust in the government's actions. "If the funds are to be released, why aren’t they being given immediately?

It seems they are only creating confusion ahead of the elections," Baij remarked. Addressing the issue of surplus paddy auction, Baij questioned the government's actions, saying, "Initially, they made claims, but now why is the auction being held? There is a lack of coordination between the central and state governments, which is why the auction is taking place."
